More than $780 million in joint funding from the Federal and NSW Governments has delivered major upgrades and new health facilities across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.

The project has seen the completion of a brand new Shellharbour Hospital at Dunmore Road, Dunmore, significant improvements to Wollongong Hospital, a full refurbishment of Bulli Hospital, and the opening of a new Community Health Centre on the former Port Kembla Hospital site.
