Accessing the Metlam Australia Customer Account Portal
All Metlam Australia Customer Account connections are created and verified by Metlam Australia Head Office. You can only create an account using your own personal information and for your own exclusive use as a representative of the company you work for. You cannot create an account on behalf of another person or use another person's information or identity, even if you have that person's written permission.
The Account holder and their Employer acknowledge that Metlam Australia is supplying access to the customer account portal for the sole purpose of accessing details of orders made on behalf of their Employer.
The Account holder can view order information, order status, and delivery details. They can also submit and retrieve MetSpec specifications made on behalf of their Employer.
The Employer acknowledges up to date access to this portal is the sole responsibility of the Employer. In circumstances where an employee has left the company, it is up to the Employer to notify Metlam Australia and to request cancellation of the Account Holders' access to the Metlam Australia Customer Account Portal.
Whilst Metlam Australia will use all reasonable efforts to meet such requests it will in no event be liable for any breach of confidentiality or for any other failure to perform hereunder due to causes beyond the reasonable control of Metlam Australia.
Metlam Australia will automatically force all Account holders accessing the customer account portal to reset their passwords every [6] months.
Once a login has been provided the following rules apply:
Password Creation and protection
- All user and admin passwords must be at least [8] characters in length. Longer passwords and passphrases are strongly encouraged.
- Passwords must be completely unique, and not used for any other system, application, or personal account.
- Default installation passwords must be changed immediately after installation is complete.
- Passwords must not be shared with anyone (including co-workers and supervisors), and must not be revealed or sent electronically.
- Passwords shall not be written down or physically stored anywhere in the office.
- Metlam Australia will automatically force all Account holders accessing the customer account portal to reset their passwords every [6] months
- Previously used passwords may not be reused.
