The new 8 story, 98-bed student accommodation facility in Regent Street, Chippendale, within close proximity to UTS, The University of Sydney and University of Notre Dame.
The building maximises the allowable height and sits well within the existing streetscape. The corner to Regent and Dwyer streets is cut away to provide a strong entry statement, in keeping with the corner features of the surrounding heritage buildings.
The ground floor accommodates internal and external social spaces designed to encourage a sense of community. A shared laundry forms part of the communal space fronting Dwyer Street. There is direct access from the internal communal area into the outdoor courtyard, and a covered outdoor dining and BBQ facility.
Typical floors contain two six-bed cluster apartments in each wing on the ‘L’, and two studios at the corner of the plan. Each apartment has a communal living / dining area with full kitchen facilities. Studios have their own kitchenette.
