VIC SALES EXECUTIVE

Metlam Australia is a leading, manufacturer & supplier of Commercial Washroom Supplies & Toilet Partition Hardware, selling to the retail market for building projects in Australia for over 20 years.

We are in the process of growing our team and we are looking for an outgoing, confident, and capable individual to join us at Metlam Australia.  The VIC Sales Executive position is based at our VIC Branch (New Gisborne).

This position is a full-time role from 8:30 am to 5 pm, dedicated to supporting the VIC State Manager.  A strong team mindset is essential to drive our shared success.

In this role, you will be provided with a car allowance, fuel card, computer, phone & IT requirements as well as be supported by an experienced Sales & Customer Service team to ensure you have all the necessary tools to be brilliant at your role.

The successful candidate will possess an optimistic disposition. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with the State Manager in creating & issuing quotations, proposals, and other customer-facing documentation

• Assisting in organising presentations and other customer events.

• Engaging directly with customers from a sale and/or pre-sales aspect.

• Contributing to State Sales functions, to achieve KPIs and set goals.

• General sales administrative duties.

• Provide administrative support to the State Manager, including appointment setting.

• Using provided resources manage ongoing sales project pipeline.

• Visiting customers F2F as instructed by the State Manager.

• Planning and managing your weekly appointments as instructed by the State Manager.

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

• Be prepared to embrace the Metlam Australia values, policies & procedures.

• Possess a strong customer-first focus.

• Possibly have previous Sales experience within a similar role or looking to move into a sales role.

• Ability to work autonomously but is also able to communicate & work well in team situations.

• Likes the challenge of handling multiple tasks and managing time effectively.

• Has some technical knowledge, or a keen desire to learn.

• Be trustworthy, and intuitive and look forward to the challenge of growing the Metlam Australia brand within VIC.
